History of Early Amateur Journalism in Arizona

 

JACKSON BROTHERS, of Phoenix, published the Amateur Arizonian in 1882, and two years later Freeman A. Chamberlain, of Tucson, issued Moonbeams. Many years later, in 1915, Joseph Thalheimer, Jr., of Phoenix, sent forth another Arizonian, and George Kahs the Phoenician.
